Scenario: Sales orders with earliest creation date has high priority (This is THE business model. Please don't suggest to change the process to earliest 1st Req. Delivery date)
Sales order 1, created on 01/08/2017 with 1st Req. Delivery date of 02/03/2017
Sales order 2, created on 01/09/2017 with 1st Req. Delivery date of 01/25/2017
Fixed date qty indicator 'Blank' by default.
Sales order 2 got the confirmation and Sales order 1 lost it.
System Behavior: By default SAP always allocates stock to Sales order with earliest 1st. Req. Delivery date not by Creation date.
Is this correct? Can this be changed?
Is there any user exit that can be modified to sort the sales order by Creation date during stock allocation instead of 1st Req. Delivery date?
V_V2 batch job runs every night and re-schedules orders with earliest creation date as high priority.
Expectation: VA01/VA02 must also behave just like Txn V_V2.
What is the solution to this problem? We don't use APO or GATP.
This is a regular MTS Planning strategy 40 (Vanilla). Please help.
