hi experts,

i am using nw 7.0

in ESS->working time->record working time i am getting an err

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

when i check the record working time iview i get the following err

Exception condition "PROFILE_NOT_INITIALIZED" raised., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE

as suggested i have maintained CVR .but still the err is not resolving please suggest.

i have checked on logs as well the following details were there

please advice.

is ESS available in CAC1?

I assume you are in EHP4 ie not using WD ABAP correct then this settings should be checked if you are in JAVA

Make sure the profile is configured for Weekly view, there is
no bi weekly or monthly view for Working time
and automatic recipient is ticked if you are using the
standard tasks for approval.

Please note that in the application CATS regular / Record
Working Time (Web Dynpro) you can only perform the approval process with
automatic recipient determination. If you implement the workflow
(Approval Workflow field is selected), employees can only work on
CATS webdynpro if the Automatic Recipient Determination field is
selected. So ensure that the Automatic recipient Determination
is checked or if you want to have your own rule then please use
Rule Group for Special Approval ie exception workflow , for this
the field Automatic Recipient Determination is not set
and then you can define your own rules and make use of the
special approval BADI 'BADI_CATS_APPROVAL' and feature CATEX
depeding upon your requirements. Please refer the help.sap.com

in our case some column size was not maintained properly.
