To open the screen as popup window in EP

Hi All,

We have standard webdynpro ABAP UI (Floor plan manager)  in portal from the standard SAP EM Configuration.

In WDABAP User interface, when user clicks on the link then SAP screen is opening in the new window , but that should be opened as a pop up window in the same portal screen where user clicks on link UI element, instead of opening in the new window.

Please let me know whether SAP provides this feature as part of any standard configuration either in FPM front or with other solution.

Currently All webdynpro ABAP UI screens are accessing in portal are from WDABAP standard UI from FPM configuration in SAP EM system.

Please get back to me on this, Thanks in advance.

on click of above link the standard SAP screen is opening in new window, but that screen should be opened in the same screen as popup window.

Hi,

You could have a look in backend transaction LPD_CUST to see whether your application is available for configuration through that but I'm not sure.

Hi again,

In attached screenshot I show an example and I have hightlighted area where you can set parameter to Inplace instead. But as I said it all depends whether your application is setup through launcpad or not. So not at all sure this will be the solution for you.

By the way - I don't think "Portal User" is a valid name for this forum....

Thanks for your reply.

I went to the Tcode that you mentioned, but I couldn't see any relevant thing to SAP EM applicated related FPM configuration.

Currently we are using the standard functionality as it is , but couldn't find the details of role/abap webdynpro stuff in launch pad for SAP EM application.

Please let me know how to check whether our application is configured by SAP thru launchpad or not?

Hi,

As said by Jan, please check that whether your application is configured in LPD_CUST and if yes you can also try to change the Portal Parameters under Advanced Parameters option. Please set the property as below

Navigation Mode: EXT_HEAD Headerless Portal Window

Unfortunately we couldn't find our application (EM9.0) in Lpd_cust even though it is Sap standard webdynpro application which is configured thru FPM.

Please let me know whether at any other place this configuration settings  are available other than the above tcode.

Can u pls let me how to find out whether our application (EM9.0)is configured thru launch pad or not.

Hi Sudhan,

EM 9.0 WebUI developed using FPM or Webdynpro ABAP.

Launch pad configuration is not applicable for EM 9 WebUI, all EM WebUI elements are built using

SPRO configuration.

you can able to add your functionality using web Dynpro enhancement.
