SPL checking with NAME1 and Country Key 100% match for country

Hi All,

While going for Manual SPL check for a Business Partner where only NAME1 is maintained and Country is Maintained ,we find the business Partner gets blocked . with SPL number  GL673034 .Further checking the detailed analysis of SPL entry list we find the Data maintained in Name 1 is getting 75% match as well as its checking the Country Match of 100% match ,where as for SPL number GL673034 there is no country maintained ,even if we change the country its getting 100% match, Can you please help me in understanding why even if  for SPL number GL673034 country is not maintained why is there matching of 100% .

Hello Amit,

This is explained in the Knowledge Based Article 1707950. ie: if no country is defined for a particular SPL master entity then they are considered as "country independent" ie. all countries are relevant and can lead to a block on any country.

Hello Amit,

Ann Marie is fully correct. This is general logic, it can happen certain SPL is blocked worldwide.
