EM Web UI Overdue Tracking status

Hi All,

I have a scenario, to track the over due expected event for freight order, using standard EM Web UI [Dynpro].

we have the below tracking status updated in EM and TM for freight orders.

Planned

In transit

Arrived

Complete

can we have a over due Tracking status ?  which will enable to view overdue expected events in Standard EM Web UI screen?

all tracking status updated in SAP TM system, my query is without updating the SAP TM can we have overdue status tracking in Web UI?

Hello Sukumar,

if you schedule the Expected Event Monitor (transaction /SAPTRX/EMJOBS) to run regularly e.g. every 10 minutes all overdue EE are identified. You can also attach a rule set and process activities in case of overdue EE.

i have added custom status in WebUI for overdue.

cased on EE overdue i like to set the overdue status in EM using cutstom program.

do we have standard functionality to set the custom status?

Dear Steffen,

Now i can able to display the overdue events in Web UI.

I like to add custom push button next to display details in search result display,

need a pop up to display the error idoc relevant for the EE overdue, when user clicks the new push button.

Does it possible with standard Web UI configuration ? if not can we trigger the custom Dynpro application from standard Web UI?

please provide the inputs .

Hi Sukumar,

this would be only possible with a Webynpro Enhancement in the EM Webdynpro.

In standard you can have only links attached in search results e.g. for a parameter. At the moment there is no possibility to customize own Buttons in the menu bar.

part of above solution can we copy the standard Web UI and include the custom changes ?

does it have any impact if we copy the standard Web UI?

You can lso copy the standard. But then you would not automatically get fixes. If it is possible i propose to use Web Dynpro Enhancements then you get with support packages the latest fixes.

do you know any Dynpro enhancement to add custom screen elements ? if so please provide the same .

i found below Enhancements but not suitable for adding the screen elements.

Hello Sukumar,

i don't mean a BADI. But explicit enhancements to Web Dynpro:

I'm not the WD expert but just adding a new button with some functionality should be possible withput much effort.

Hi Sukumar,

the EM BAdIs do not provide such enhancement possibilities. You should check web dynpro enhancement possibilities (independent from EM) for this.
