DTW stocktaking import version 9.0?

Hi,

How do we go on to import the initial stock balances in 9.0?

We tried using the same DTW template as earlier versions and there is no errors but we can't find it anywhere..

Is there a new template for stocktaking or does it show up somewhere else? I hope it is possible to import with DTW...

Kind Regards

Anders Petersson

    https://websmp109.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001433652012E/SDK_CompIssue_90.pdf

Stock Taking - Open stock counting data will be lost after upgrade to 9.0 When upgrading SAP Business One 8.82 or earlier to SAP Business One 9.0 or later, if ongoing inventory counting data is identified, a warning message will appear to warn user against potential loss of data and propose to finalize the counting prior to upgrade. Finalize the counting prior to upgrade DTW

    Hope Helpful 😊

    Hi Anders,

Initial stock balances may not be done through DTW. DTW can upload stock by stock taking only. After stocking taking, you can post them.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

    Hi Mr. Anders,

I was wondering if you could tell me where I can find SAP Note 1841597. I've been looking everywhere so I can gather the details I need for cycle count.

    Thanks!!!

    Best Regards,

    Hi to all,

500 Lines for Import needs 10 Minutes. Our Customer has 50.000 Items and 5-8 Wharehouses that would mean that we need approx. ~100 hours.

Sorry this "feature" is in 9.0 not practicable.

    BEst regards,

    H.Tuscher

      Hi Herbert,

We have the same situation here. I was trying to import 4,600 lines into Inventory Posting, and after 90 minutes I finally could click on "Add" button, and after another 15 minutes it bombed SB1. I spent almost 2 hours to learn that this new feature is not feasible at all.

I'm going to try GI/GR instead.
