Generally we use KPro for document storage. However for EH&S GLM we have stayed with the SAP delivered default configuration for documents SBV and SBR. That is not to use KPro. As a result documents are stored in SAP-SYSTEM data carrier.
I'm looking for additional background information about this data carrier, its configuration, storage location (DB?, File on backend?, etc) and methods of data management and monitoring.
Tx in advance,
Rich

Thanks - this provides general overview of data carriers but not the details I would like regarding the storage repository for SAP-SYSTEM. Since we are going forward using SAP-SYSTEM as the storage category for certain GLM related documents, we want to monitor the database file or storage location.
Hello Richard,
SAP Content Server is based on MaxDB
I am providing some document links for understanding how the content repositories , content repositories and storage location work for DMS with EH&S.
For monitoring the DB , Transaction CSADMIN, OACT can be used in SAP system.
You can also check the size from MaxDB itself.
