Hi,

I have chosen BC-Cost Center BPL , In source  system ONRKS table has 23000 records , in receiver system ONRKS table has 23084 records.

I would like to delete table contents in receiver system before data transfer. How to achieve this?

regards

Vinay

Hi Vinay,

TDMS isn't created for that purpose. If you want to delete data of one particular table I suggest doing this on either oracle or via an ABAP run.

Once this is done you can start up the TDMS run.

Hopefully this helps you.

Eddy

Deleting 23K records should not be big issue without TDMS as well

Hi Vinay,

I would like to know on which SP ( TDMS support package ) you are, because solution for this will vary accordingly.

Hi Vinay,

•Deleting data in the receiver system

This activity starts a sub activity in the background (BTC process) on the receiver system for almost every table that is to be deleted. Each sub activity logs on to the central system using RFC, and repeatedly transfers its processing status. For this, a process dialog on the central system is temporarily occupied. This means that for each active BTC process in the receiver system, a process dialog is also occupied in the central system. This may result in a bottleneck. However, intense DB accesses mainly increase the load on the receiver system.
