Trouble to add SAP as JAVA in Netweaver CE 7.3 trial versión.

Hello friends,

I have just installed Sap NetWeaver CE 7.3 trial version in my windows 7 home premium edition of 64x, but when I was adding sap as java in Netweaver Develop Studio, I got this message error: The following SAP instance cannot be accessed at present.

This is a resume of features of my system:

Windows 7 home premium edition (Spanish) with 4 GB of RAM and 50 GB of HD.

VMWARE Player 5

(ORACLE) JDK 1.6.0_45 (32x)

I disabled firewall and antivirus program.

I am using the loopback interface.

I did these steps before I added SAP as JAVA:

  1. 1.- Started the SAP System
  2. 2.- Review that SAP System is up in the Sap Console.
  3. 3.- I did a ping at next address : 127.0.0.1 and 12.0.0.2 since cmd in windows 7.
  4. 4.- I tried to add SAP as JAVA with next data in NWDS

Instance Host NAME: 127.0.0.1 and 127.0.0.2

Instance Number: 00 and 01

Add to Domain: Default and empty.

Additional I modify the file DEFAULT.PFL and add the line: service/protectedwebmethods = SDEFAULT.

What could be the reason for this message? Have I to use a windows/32 bits instead of windows/64 bits?

Best Regards.

Luis

You're not trying to do a double stack installation with a trial, do you?

    First: this is nonsense.

Second: 7.3 does not support double stack installation even if you had a full version.

Otherwise please explain what you really want to do.

    Regards,

    Benny

How does requesting a new SAP Netweaver trial key generate a valid Sybase ASE key? Aren't the two different keys? They don't look anything alike.
