EP 6.0 and SP9

Hi

How would I apply service pack (SP9) on EP6.0 what are the steps needed(can anybody send me required document) and what are the hot patches need to apply on business packages like ESS MSS.

Hi Shah,

What version of the portal are you currently on? If you are on SP2 (which is a pre NetWeaver version) you can't apply the service packs. You have to do a new installation and migrate. If you happen to be on a rampup version of EP on NetWeaver (SP3 to SP8),let me know and I'll point you to the documentation.

My suggestion is that if you have the option, you should install the NetWeaver version of the portal right to SP9.

In either case you can find the installation and upgrade guides here. http://service.sap.com/instguides. In the navigation panel choose SAP NetWeaver -> Release 04. Then choose installation or upgrade. Also make sure check out the master guide (or upgrade master guide)for Netweaver.

I want to implement the self-service home page what are the necessary steps i need to take in EP6.0 sp13 and in backend(SAP ECC 5.0) and what are the configuration steps in EP6.0
