Dear experts,

is there any way to carry out the functionality of EWM-MFS in a WM system?

I guess  maybe with RFC destination (TCP/IP type) and abap development.

I will apreciate any other suggestion.

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Hi,

WHY would you want to do that? Or maybe better: what do you really want to do? Have a part of your WM administrated warehouse with an automated system? There is an interface in WM to connect to an external system controlling this automated system. In EWM you can directly connect to a PLC, but because there are also more information about layout of the warehouse and other things which are required. The effort to progam all this in WM would be huge.

Hi juergen,

"WMS-WSU" Interface would it be the way of using SAP-TRM?

By the way, which are the advantages and disadvantages beteween EWM-MFS and SAP-TRM?

Thanks in advance
