Hi experts,
Is it possible to do a journal to convert directly between two foreign currencies, in this case EUR and US$? We have a Euro account and $ account, and I did a transfer between them, but doing the journal appeared to cause some problems and I couldn’t use more than one foreign currency in the same journal. So I had to do it all in $ and £, which I think has left Eur and $ balances on my Euro code?

Hi,
Journal Document: Form Settings / General tab / tick Allow Multiple Currency Transactions
Hope that helps,
David

Hi Sudhir,
If your gl accounts are mapped as all currencies or specific foreign currency, then you can post an entry in foreign currency.
You would need to tick on the "Display FC' check box to display and enter the values in foreign currency.
Thanks,
Joseph

Hi,
Transfering between two different currency in the same Journal Entry is your exact requirement.
The currency in which all the balances are maintained is the Local Currency.
You can give a try to transfer the balance from one FC to a G\L Account with all currency and then from that all currency G\L Account to the other FC account.
Check in DEMO by creating the JE. Your all currency account should have zero balance after the two transactions.
Kind Regards,
Jitin
