Not able to change status in Request for Change in CHARM 7.1. Why

Dear CHARM Experts,

While in the screen for approval in Request for change, the Business user is able to approve the Change request but the main status is not changing to 'Approved' but remains as 'To be approved'.

Please see the screen shots for reference.

Now even when I try and change the status through transaction optimizer, no change object ID is getting created for urgent correction.

Please help, nearing end of days for Project.

    Hello Mangesh,

You should probably check your approval workflow, in your screen shot it says level 1 was set to approved, check if there are additional level's.

If that's not the case then try restarting approval procedure by changing status of CRT.

You can restart the approval procedure by setting the status one step back through actions.

Please check authorization as Jansi suggested.

Also you can check logs under processing log tab on same page, why the activity failed.

There can be the couple of reason

    1. Check whether do you have proper auth to adjust the status, check the auth of the change manager.

    2. Other case, with the workflow if you use extended scope, you need to open the closed approval procedure again to set approve. Please check Status Flow of the Request for Change including Approval Procedure and ChaRM Framework

    2. what is the cycle phase? getting any error regards to Phase.

    4. Sometimes, it can be reason of your Maintenance cycle Phase not sync with the change document phase. Check the Question number 9 Change Request Management scenario: Usual questions and known errors , set the correct phase value using the report /TMWFLOW/PHCNTRL_DB_UTILITY.

    Please check.

Were you able to resolve the problem.

When I am trying to create a Normal CD for a RFC and project (project is in Development without release) phase it is getting created,

But when creating an Urgent CD for the RFC, system keeps spinning and does not create to at the end.

Please suggest on how you were able to resolve the error
