Validation of customer in Custom table in Event Management System

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where i need to maintain the decision table in Event Management system with the fields of sold to party, ship to party , incoterm1 & route.But there is no check table KNA1 for validating customer field value. So, how can we validate sold to party/ship to party entries when there is no check table.

Hi Nethra,

on which release are you and when/how exactly do you want to check your input parameters from customers?

If you want to do it using Event Messages using the Web UI you have two possibilities

• If you are on SAP EM 7.0 EhP1 you can use the Search Help field which you find under Configure Fields for Event Messages. In that field you can enter a search help table which you need to define under SE11. Or if you use SAP EM as an ERP add-on you can use the existing search helps for KNA1
