Is there are way to add dimension members, in a memberset, in order to get combined results? Specifically, I am trying to add a few entities together and these entities do not have a common parent.
I know I can use an EVGET, but we are working on migrating to V10.0 and I am under the impression that EVGets do not work or work differently in V10.0
Hi Ann,
This feature is available in evDRE reports (for BPC 7.X) using the PageKeyRange. You can add more than member into the PageKeyRange and it will combine the results.
See the following help page for further information:
Planning and Consolidation 7.5, version for the Microsoft platform - PageKey Range
This feature was also ported to the EPM Add-In also but is now called EPMOlapMultiMember. You can select more than 1 dimension member in the Page Axis (Allow Multi-Selection checkbox).
See section 12.1.1 Member Identification and 44.2.3.1 PageKeyRange Members of the EPM Add-In User guide.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
John
