Windows 8 and Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2005

Cannot get Crystal Reports x64 for Visual Studio 2005 to work in my Windows 8 machine.

My source code is alright as the same code executes fine in a Windows XP and on Windows 7.

When IIS is set to run on 32 bit the report shows ok. Took me three hours for it to display in 32 bit but it works now.

When I set IIS to run on 64 bit, when I call the page that loads the report the application pool stops and IIS start throwing the error "Service Unavailable"

I installed the 64 redist msi in an administrator console but that doesn't solve the problem.

Any help is appreciated.
