Initial Run days in QA05 or QA07

Dear All,

Can anyone tell me about the scope of Initial Run days in QA05 or QA07.  I am little bit confused about the Initial run days calculation. 

How to create the inspection lot using Initial run days with Next inspection date.  Wat calculation happened behind this.

Can you pls clear.

Initial Run Days to calculate the due period to run the deadline monitoring to create Inspection lots.

If the specific inspection lot is due on 10.05.2013 & running QA07 on 22.04.2013 by giving 10 days as Initial run days, then system will consider from today till 10th day. So it won't consider the batch which has inspection date as 10.05.2013.

You meant, system will generate the inspection lot of batches  which lies in between upcoming 10 days only..

From SAP by pressing F1 on that field

Initial Run in Days
Use
The opening period is calculated using the initial run in days.
If the batch expiration date or the next inspection date is in the opening period, the chosen action is executed.
