SAP PO Release Stategy Deletion

Dear All ;

We have a requirement to delete the old PO Release Strategy and to build new release strategy in Production environment .We have open PO in Existing Production system .my question is if we delete old release strategy entirely from production system will it show inconsistancy ?

My other question is if we delete CL20N assignment in the production environment only ,will be sufficient to built new release statregy ?

I have seen SAP Note 365604 .
