SAP BO edge post installation

Dear Experts,

                        I have installed SAP BO edge BI 4.0. I am not able to logon after installation.

Hi Snehal,

Looks like your DSN for "CMS DB connection" is not set properly, or when you have set "CMS DB connection" during SAP Business Objects Edge setup you provided wrong info.

Reconfigure "DSN" for a normal connection, with username/password and retest.

Then restart the "Server Intelligent Agent" From Central Configuration Manager and then first login in "Server Intelligent Agent" and then in "Central Management Console".

Hi Snehal,

It was not available in "Services.msc" you have to check the ODBC Connection on Server(Machine) regarding below points

Reconfigure "DSN" for a normal connection, with username/password and retest

Hi Snehal,

As said by Daya, the problem is with the CMS. Have you checked whether the SIA is up and running after the installation? Also did you check wether the CMS.exe process is running from the task manager?.

Try to follow the the steps suggested by Daya else if it is a brand new server without any data, you can go ahead with the CMS DB restore option from SIA properties.
