Looking for Expert Advice On Confirmation Activity

Appreciate if someone could advise why the confirmation activity is not sending e-mail and candidate cannot see it in his profile?

We have the following requirement:

Internal Recruiter would like to collect the candidate confirmation on attending the scheduled interview. Base on his response either rejection activity will be created (if not confirmed or didn’t accept), or a new activity will be created to continue the interview process (if candidate confirm his attendance).

We did the following configuration for the confirmation activity:

• Defined activity type with name “Employee Interview Confirmation” and assign it to Interview categories:

Using Implementation Guide (IMG) for (SAP E-Recruiting under Applicant Tracking → Activities → Define Activity Types.)

• Specified Default Values for the Activities as follows:

1. STATUS: planned
2. PROCESSOR: Lead Recruiter

Using Implementation Guide (IMG) for (SAP E-Recruiting under Applicant Tracking → Activities → Specify Default Values for Activities.)

• Assign candidacy object types to activity types

Using Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP E-Recruiting under Applicant Tracking → Activities → Assign HR Object Types to Activity Types.

• Set up Confirmation Activity by defining

1. Reasons for Decision
2. Assign Possible Confirmation Results and Reasons

As follows:

Confirmation : Reason

(1) Accepted : Accepted

(2) Rejected : Not Interested

We did the bellow scenario,

Creation:

Lead recruiter selects a candidate on the interview stage, and created “Employee Interview Confirmation” activity for the candidate (technically, candidacy). Then, Filled in “Due on Date” field and selected “Process by” ID. After that, added the candidate to the confirmation list. Then, clicked on “Request for Confirmation” button. Finally, Clicked on “OK” button.

Checking:

We checked the SOST transaction, we didn’t see any e-mail. We logged in as a candidate, and we didn’t
see the activity in his profile.
