Datasource 0STOCKCAT_TEXT and 0STOCKTYPE_TEXT with language issues

Hello to all,

While trying to populate infocube 0IC_C03 for Inventory Analysis I am facing a problem with 0STOCKCAT_TEXT and 0STOCKTYPE_TEXT datasources.

Infopackage for both of them loads same number of records as in source system (tested with RSA3). I want to load texts in RO, but it came just with texts in EN. Also in "data selection" tab from infopackage I have 0 rows (screenshot attached).

Language is installed in SMLT, set in report "rscpinst" and RFC connection between BW and ERP has no default language.

I am facing this issue, until now, just for those two datasources.

Can you help please ?

you can try to reinstall the business content datasources again from RSA5. This often solved this issue for me.

Hi,

You have two options to filter the data to be loaded.

One is to modify the extractor 0STOCKTYPE_TEXT that it enables the selection field language. This way you could make the filter directly on the InfoPackage.

Another way would be to put the data selection you want directly in DTP load of texts.

Hi,

I was trying to say that you can set filters within your DTP.

This document explains the DTP it and see where you can also set the filter in your DTP

Have you checked in RSA3 extract checker in R3 side.. whether it displays RO language

Goto RSA6 and enable the LANGU field for selection and try to load for the required language... If the texts are maintained for the language you will surely get it...

I cannot enable as the checkbox for lang is disabled. The only one enabled is for description.... See the screenshot in the post below.
