BO Client Tools installation on Windows 8

Hi,

As we know WINDOWS 8 is not yet a supporting platform for SBOP Clinet tools yet officially,

however I read somewhere that it supports technically with minor issues ,

I have installed all the client tools successfully but when I am trying to create a new document using Universe/Bex as data source then I get USER IDENTIFICATION Window with Blank Authentication Type , i mean there are NO options( SAP,Enterprise,LDAP etc) shown to chose from? ( Pls see the screenshot)

Just I wonder whether is it because of the operating system Windows 8 or any other ?

I did'n t face any issues while installing the tools and everything went successfully,

Pls advise if anyone come across this scenario already
