Hi Everyone,
I am encountering problems with 0applic_attr(in other data source also) i tried the Delta and Full in the DTP but i keep on encountering the Duplicate error message as you can see in the image the error records are the same inside the master data table. it fails to update the old record rather it gives me a duplicate error message. any one encountered this kind of problem. Kindly advise
Many Thanks,
Jose Mich
Hi,
Check "Handle Duplicate Record Key" DTP settings in update tab. this should resolve your issue.
DTP --> Update tab --> Check Handle Duplicated Record Key
(if it is unchecked it does not allow to make any changes in existing key record)

Dipti Gandhi,
Though you check the duplicates it depends on the Error handling settings.
Only new records get updated, duplicates will be in error stack and status depends on the settings that you have made on Error Handling. As Master data will not have duplicates. If duplicates it will be in error stack and set Error Handling ---> Update Valid records , Reporting Possible.

Hi Jose Mich,
Master data will not allow duplicate records to get upload as it cant overwrite.
When you load data, if its new record it gets updated. Else based upon the error handling settings it will treat the duplicates and throw it into error stack. So Delete the previous requests or records and then do Full load which will not duplicate and you will be able to achieve. But have a note deleting master data is possible only if its not loaded as part of Transaction data. So go ahead delete the contents and do a full load.
