Dear Friends,

Please bear if it is a basic question and have searched in SDN.

But, could not get the suitable thread.

While posting goods issue following error system gives :

Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 10 EA : VALVES1 9001 PRSL

Message no. M7021

Diagnosis

Shortfall below the specified stock level or quantity amounting to 10 EA.

System Response

If the message is an error message (E), the above is not allowed.

If the message is a warning message (W), the system will allow your input, but the warning is intended to prevent you entering a wrong quantity.

Procedure

In the case of a warning message, check the quantity entered.

In the case of an error message, change the quantity or terminate processing.

Note:

The abbreviations in the short text of this message can have the following values:

BA = batch

OR = order

PL = plant

PR = previous period

PU = purchasing document

RE = reservation

SL = storage location

VC = consignment stock from vendor in storage location

The topic is old, but I want to add something: if you want to reverse a delivery, you can get this error in MIGO. If you have enough available quantity in the specified storage location, you should check if there is an invoice. If the invoice is posted you must reverse it first.

Hi,

Can you please chek the Date on which you doing Delvery/PGI is Holiday in Factory calendor.

If factory calander is considering for availablity then it will not allow to to PGI on Holiday.

Not sure if this got solved but we had the same issue and found that it had to do with month-end posting period (i.e. we had stock on 10/1 but were trying to goods issue for 9/30 since we wanted to hit the goods issue against the September books).

i think you dont have any stock so you how can sale (through vl01n post to goods issue) do one thing upload intial stock to your respect Plant and Storage location through T.code : mb1c movment type 561

Hi,

Can you check what is the current stock level for that material / Sloc and plant. What I understand from the message is there is no sufficient stock at unrestricted location to do the PGI.

So, please check and do the PGI accoordingly.

Please check any Maximum and Minimum quantity have you maintained for this material in MM02 and also have you maintained any serials numbers for this material ? as with special stock over there .

If you dont mind , could you please check your Item Category ( whatever flowing in your Sales Order ) having any value in the Field " Special Stock " ?
