Cancel settlement in different year

Hello Experts.

We have a sales order that has been settled during 2012 and part of 2013. Recently we have put a RA key and it doesn´t allow to execute the WIP settlement because of the previous settlements that have been done in the Sales Order.

The system asks me to cancel them but i can´t find the way to do it when they have been settled in a different  year from the actual.

Is there any way to do it?

Hi Alex,

Yes,you can reverse previous year settlements in current year.but you have to implement OSS note to have this funcationality in your system.

check this OSS note.

It almost helps me but it doesn´t apply to VA88 where we can settle sales orders.

Do you know any other note?.

You can't reverse settlements using VA88.go to SA38 and use this program.

Hi Alex,

If Sales Order related to 2013 it will not possible to settle in previous year 2012.

Please check the schedule agreement dates in Sales Order, If schedule agreement dates belongs to previous year, there is possibility do the settlement in previous year 2012.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Sorry Srinu.

The Sales order was created un 2012. It was settled many times during this year. It is still open, and now we want to have WIP on it.

The system allows you to put the RA key, and do the RA calculation, but it doesn´t allow you to do the settlement unless we cancel everything that we have settled during 2013 and 2012.

Hi Alex,

once you done the sales order settlement it is not possible to do the Result Analysis, If you want to calculate the result analysis for the particular sales order you have to reverse the previous settlement.
