Replicate Basic Material Text from ECC to CRM

Hi Guys,

I wanted to replicate Basic Material Text which exists in Basic data 2 tab of MM03 to a new text type in SAP CRM COMMPR01 transaction through initial and delta load. Can someone help me with this?

Hi Dhruv,

The basic text maintain in ERP do get replicated to CRM with respective languages. If you want to change the text type during replication, you may check BADI PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2 present in CRM where you can make changes to the incoming data.

Note that the sales text comes as MVKE entry where as basic text comes as MATERIAL which you can use for differentiating the data.

the note 2114370 is very specific about sales text (long text) so I doubt it will solve anything about basic data text (MARA-WRKST), just looking at the coding changes.
