Text Element - CoA Characteristics

Hi All,

I want to add a new text element in CoA characteristics from transaction QC22. At present I have 0001 to 0006 options in text element . Now I want to add 0007 to text element drop down list and then to do enhancement in script form. From which configuration path I can add 0007 as text element drop down list item?

Please let me know if you need more clarification.

The text element is specified directly in the SAPScript.  Review the SAP Script and you'll find the references to the each of the available text elements.  You insert your new one in the same manner into the SAP script and you should than find it as an option for those profiles using that SAP Script form.

Hi

This can also be handled in config.

SPRO > Quality Management > Certificate Profile > Define Configuration of Characteristics Field.

Select CfldConfig '001'.

Double click on text elements.

(Probably best to copy at this stage, from 0001, for example).

Go back into your newly created text element (Select it)

Click on fields.

Add new entry:

QCSPEC - SOLLWERT.

Save.

Just to set the right expectation - This will still probably need some work to be done by the programmer to get it to show on the form..
