MEMASSA doesn't work

Hi all,

when I try to change the tolerance fields (EKPO-UNTTO and EKPO-UEBTO) for a schedule agreement by the transaction MEMASSSA the system raises a successfully message but when I check the SA in the transaction ME33L the tolerances have not been updated.

Please, could you help me.

Hello Carlos,

don't you have any customer development (User-Exit/BAdI) implemented, which could possibly effect it? (like checking SY-TCODE or something). MEMASSSA  for fields UNTTO/UEBTO is working without any issues on my system (SAP_APPL version SAPKH60021).

Hi Jürgen,

yes I am.

I have changed these values manually in the transaction ME32L for a specific SA and when I try to change by the MEMASSSA, it retrieves the new values that I have changed. So, these are the same fields that I am trying to change by the MEMASSSA.

In addition, I have tried it for PO's in the MASS transaction and the fields have been updated correctly.

It usually should not be any difference  if you go via MASS and enter the object type, or if you directly call MEMASSSA.

The only difference I know is the transaction authorization, because many do not want to give authorization to MASS as it is too powerful

e.g. I do not see the authorization objects

M_RAHM_BSA, M_RAHM_EKO and M_RAHM_WRK for the MASS transaction, while they are present in the MEMASSSA transaction.

Hence I would conclude that it is an authority issue that your values dont get changed with MEMASSSA
