Need suggestion

Hi Techies,

We are in a way of bulding a standby BW system for mock upgrade. Planning a standby system for that.

Current landscape is on 7.02 (BI cont 705)/MSSQL 2008 R2 on Windows 2003.

So we prepared a 4th Windows system with same storage etc. Need your expert suggestion to build this system same as current Prod or QA system.

What is the easiest/best procedure to build this system?

Install SQL, SAP and then do a restore OR Restore file system backup from souce and then recover DB/Application OR any other process
