Is there any maximum records limit for transactional data which can be backed up/restored using UJBR ?

Hi Archit,

There is no such limitation. UJBR will backup all the data, provided you have removed the default limitation of 200 records. Please note that while backing up, if you have huge transaction data, then it will create multiple flat files, and each of them will have 50,000 records.

Hope this helps.

@ Nilanjan: Can i presume that there is no upper limit......since somewhere i remember reading that it has upper limit of around 10 million records or sth?

We had over 100M records to backup and restore.  Though there is no limit the only way we could get the UJBR to work was increasing packet size from 40,000 to 500,000.

Hi Archit,

There is no limit as such while backing up transaction data provided your system has enough memory to complete this backup activity otherwise your system may go down and this job will continue to run without actually doing anything.

In case if that happens, you can simply got to SM37 and check the run time and run process of your job & kill the job in SM50.

Hope it helps.

Best Regards,

Ashwin.
