NW-BPM Transport across envirotnment without NWDI / CTS+

Hi,

I know it is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if anybody could give me some information on this.

How do we Transport/Deploy a NW BPM Process developed in local PC in NWDS (IDE) in production if we don't have NWDI configured for the SC/DCs and also dont have CTS+.

Is there any SAP documentation about deploying directly in production as part of project backup plan, etc.

I dont think that there will be any documentation for the same but surely u can use NWDS. Having said that it's not a best practice.

Hi Amit and Jun,

I understand that it is not the conventional way. But i'm looking of something more in a conventional "Firefighter" way in the Java only PO stack.

I would also like to understand the risks involved in it as I do agree that it is not an approach that even I would recommend.

Hi Arnab,

the best and easiest way would be to use the Deployment mechanism of the NetWeaver Development Studio itself to deploy a process to a given system:

• Configure your system in Window -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java
• Deployment the process by right-clicking on the DC in your Studio -> Development Component -> Deploy

Of course you should know what you are doing .
