Hi All,
I am working on a project which requires me to create an SAP Crystal Reports by consuming data from SAP RFC's. I am totally new to crystal reports and need help on crystal reports- SAP connectivity.
Crystal report 2011 already has an SAP integration kit. I am however struggling to get my SAP system when I try to add an SAP Info Sets data source.
I have also installed the SAP GUI and SAP BI tools.
Can anyone provide me with the steps to be performed in order to create crystal reports?

Thanks Jothi,
Please help with the problem I am facing now on my project.
My report has two sections:
Section 1: Filter section
Section 2: Data section
I am done with section 2. I basically have a main report and a sub report for this purpose. I am passing the 'id' and 'data' values from the main report to the sub report, which in turn calls an SAP RFC and gives me all the report data.
The sub report, which has the filters, which are supposed to be applied at the report level on the already accumulated data on the report. These filters need not interact with the RFC(SAP) but have to filter data only at the report level.
The issue I am facing here is that when I try to add the filter(as a drop down) on the sub report, the filter appears on the main report itself, and since the RFC will not be processed until the 'id' and 'date' have been passed, I do not get the data.
I should get all the filter data from the same RFC which gives me the report data. Should I separate the RFC itself, so that the filter data comes from a diff RFC ( if that would help) ?
Can you help me add the filter on the sub report in such a way that they are active only once the sub report has been loaded, and hence populate the filter data.

I have to create crystal reports by consuming data coming in from SAP RFC's (R3) system. As of now, I cant connect to the relevant SAP system from crystal reports.
I have gone through a few posts and they say that SAP connection needs to be configured to begin with.
So that would be a really helpful pointer and would allow me to set things rolling.
