Can any one please guide me step by step flow in Actual Costing

I am currently doing an Implementation where my fellow team members in SD & MM are using Standard Costing method . But I want to calculate the Cost of Good Sold through Actual Costing method and connect the same with SD flow. Can any one please guide me what are the steps for Actual Costing Calculation and integration between SAP CO and SAP SD for COGS.

Your suggestion in this regrads would be a great help for my project.
