EPM Add-In Language Setting Issue - Member Description not shown

Hi,

When changing the language on the EPM Add-In, I am having the problem that only the ID is displayed in the context menu.

When changing the language setting from English to German, see how the description now just mimics the ID.

Is this the same for everyone? Why does this happen, I am unaware of any regionalisation for descriptions that should impact on this. I have logged off and logged back on / refresh master data for connection.

Hi Nick,

Do you imported/detailed masterdata in both languages?

For mannual adjustments in masterdata you need to log in the diffirent language to set the description.

Importing masterdata from BW you need to use the option "SET SETELECTION" and flag the languages available in BW.

Thanks very much for the information - I wasn't aware of these settings.

We don't have master data in any other languages - only English. I think in light of this we will advise all users use English in the EPM Add-In.

Hi Nick,

Also you can set the master data descriptions logged in German i.e, with English descriptions.

What means that in both languages descriptions will be in English.
