I am installing a decentral PI Adapter Engine 7.11 (Java) Suse Linux. In the sapinst windows "ABAP UME" I put the user I have created in the ABAP System in the form. The problem is, that SAPJSF User cannot connect ! Get the error message .DIASNOSIS: For more details see output log file:

In the log file I found "finished with return code 8“  ! Removed file ..../dev_UserCheck I cannot find this file in the connection phase ?!

I can open the conntection to the target system via telnet. But on the operating systen I cannot see an connection from sapinst via netstat -a. On the target system is noch open connection to the source system ?

Create entry in saplog.../services.SAPtmp and /etc/services , but no sucess !

Can anybody help quickly ? Thanks a lot !!!

Can you check on your ABAP system if user SAPJSF is locked or lacking authorizations ?

Create separate User for this troubleshooting, is not logged. The sapinst is not in the process to connect to the target system. We test a diffrent java version - on windows this was the resolution.

Java Version was ok. So I go back and install with JAVA UME ! Later I reconfigure it to ABAP UME.
