Copying SAP_PROF from PRD to QAS then to DEV

Hi

I need help on running SCC8 or is it the right tcode.

I wanted to copy the SAP_PROF from PRD to QAS, then QAS to DEV however, scc8 does not allow me to select on which client to do the export.

We have QAS100 and QAS200 and DEV100 and DEV200. All have the same software versions.

Is there something I need to check first?

Also, what prerequisites do I need to check before doing SCC8? After running SCC8, what needs to be done?

scc8 does not allow me to select on which client to do the export.

The export will be done on the client you are logged on. You don't get to choose 😄

Hi Karl,

After running SCC8, you need to generate the profiles for all all roles which were copied to target system - use mass generation in pfcg.

Hi Karl,

Please perform the following.

1Login to PRD system with the correct client from which you want to export the SAP_PROF profiles and start the export using the tcode SCC8.

2. You will be prompted with the TR that will be generated. You can find these TR's created in your Trans directory/ Cofiles and data folders.

3. Copy these files to the QAS to the EPS/cofiles and data folders correctly and go to stms_import tcode -> extras -> add the TR and start the import

Thats it.
