Hi All

I am working on Talent Management in EHP6 and my query is there is a relationship in IT 1001(S-O) which can be used to define Area of Responsibilty for Talent Management Specialist. Is there  any relationship to define Employee sub group , personal area or subarea for TMS.

Thanks

Smriti

Hi Smitri,

The authorization model is designed only to read S A 741 O only. There are lots of ramifications of changing this and you would need to make several enhancements to function modules and TREX to leverage a change in the standard.

What sort of changes do you envisage?

Hi Luke

Thanks for your reply. My query is that by maintaining relationship 741 , the Talent Management Specialist may have access to all the employees of a particular org unit. Can TMS may have access to particular Employee sub group of that org unit.

If not than can positions be hard coded to get the desired output.

Thanks

Hi Smriti,

Check out FM HRTMC_GET_ORG_HIER_ROOT_ORG - that's what reads the child objects based on the root returned by HRTMC_GET_ROOT_OBJECT.

Best regards,

Hi Simitri,

to define the search result for CP's you have two possibilities:

1) playing around with AOR which means defining a 741 relationsship between TMS Position and a orgunit. As I understand this is not enough for you??

2) there is a complex data model of all talent data including structurial  authorization. You can also use structural authorization to define the search result.

So the result contains cp based on AOR and structural authorization.

Hope that helps
