Sender Email Address ID is hard coded

Former Member

The Sender Email Address ID is hardcoded in the standard CRM/WCEM function modules, such as
1. User Registration Notification CRM_WEC_REGISTER_CONSUMER
2. Forgotten User Notification CRM_WEC_SEND_FORGOT_USER
3. ...

If a customer has multiple WCEM shops for different parts of the business then they would not be able to send emails from different parts of the business with an email address that represents the shop that they were on.

eg.

Customer has 2 shops - Shop 1 and Shop 2.

If a customer registers on shop2 then they would be confused if they received and email from shop 1.

Has anyone come across this problem before and have some thoughts?

thanks in advance.

Hi Mitchell,

the email can be different as you can assign different email-templates for every shop-configuration.

However I understand your issue - there is always only one Sender Email Address per backend-system.

So the style, content and description can be different, the Sender Email Address is the same.

Best regards,

Arno
