Regarding %_hints oracle '&max_in_blocking_factor 100&&max_blocking_factor 100&' statement

Sir,

I have used non-key fields in the selection criteria for the BSEG (CLUSTER TABLE).

the report is taking much more time to execute the output of the report.

As it is the cluster table, no way of creating the secondary indexes also.

some one suggested me to use %_hints oracle '&max_in_blocking_factor 100&&max_blocking_factor 100&' statement.

Pls explain the exact use of this statement.

Regards.
