Room Creation Exception

Hi

we have EP Version 6 SP 12 patch

Km and collaboration also on SP 12 patch.

When i am trying to create a collaboration room

after saying FINISH, there is runtime exception as follows:

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

Hi Deepti,

Do you have your email channels, your channel originators (System Admin>KM>Content Mgmt>Utilities>Channels/Channel Originators) and your Groupware Transport email channel configured (System Admin-->Knowledge Mgmt --> Collaboration >Groupware Transports>Mail Transport)? The last thing the Room Creation Wizard does is send an email, and I have seen similar errors if it's not configured /working properly.

I had the same problem. Per OSS Note 857830 room creation fails on installations using Oracle or Maxdb prior to patch 1. I applied KM SP 12 Patch 3 according to the notes instructions and it resolved the problem.
