Error in Client Import

Hi Experts,

We planned to client refresh in sand box client from production.We have exported client specific data by SAP_ALL profile using SCC8,when we added the TR in STMS import queue it showing "REQUEST WILL NOT BE IMPORTED".

Even though i refered some threads where all are told we can skip the status and proceed.

we have started the import process 16 hours before it is still in running state and i can't view SLOG due to no file is exists.

no workprocess is running for import in SM50.

RDD* jobs also not in active state but oraarch is generating.

how to resolve this.Please guide me

Hi Graham,

It is updating tmp directory now but taking more time to import still in main import status

Hi Pradeep,

Are you seeing any transport logs being generated at the operating system in \usr\sap\trans\log?

Hi Graham,

Yes logs are geneared but i could not seen any error message in the U,S,A log file.

The usr/sap/trans/tmp directory is not getting update but the status is in MAIN IMPORT.

I have tried three times re-import but no luck as far as now.

Source Database size is 155 GB and client size is 60-70 GB.

Oracle database,RAM 16 GB.

Target system has enough space for tablespace growth and Table spaces are auto extendable.

we got the error twrtab reached maximum memory error but later on it is gone and updating the tmp directory.

What could be the reason for the issue?

Please help me.
