No ranges for Batch Management

Hi gurus,I am having one confusion regarding batch number range assignment.I have activated Internal no range assignment.My batch level is material level.whenever i am going to maintain no range the object is BATCH_CLT and it has intervals also.May I use it although my batch level is material level.

In case if i am not able to use it then kindly let me know what is the object as well as how to maintain it?

Hi,

The batch level only determines the area in which the batch number is unique. In standard system, the number range 01 is defined for internal number assignment for the object BATCH_CLT. You can use BATCH_CLT with internal number range for all batch levels.
