No ranges for Batch Management

Hi gurus,I am having one confusion regarding batch number range assignment.I have activated Internal no range assignment.My batch level is material level.whenever i am going to maintain no range the object is BATCH_CLT and it has intervals also.May I use it although my batch level is material level.

In case if i am not able to use it then kindly let me know what is the object as well as how to maintain it?
