SAP benefits enrollment error

Hi All,

I am getting an error while enrolling an employee.

I have created an adjustment reason,also maintained permission for each category of plans as add, change etc.

But for the Spouse,Child,Domestic Partner Plans alone the Enrollment Workbench is not working properly.

When i have given permission for change ,its not allowing to change,similarly regards to delete option also.

Have anyone experienced  similar issues????

Please provide your valuable inputs...

Are you using EHP4/4 Java services OR WD ABAP EHP6 services?  Regards, Arpit

We are not using portal.....

We are in ECC 6.0 ...so any sap notes needs to applied???

Hi ,

I have tested with date of birth of dependants,from that it seems like if dependant is having more age than 65 this issue is coming.....any checks for  age in standard benefits enrollment ??

Hi Jimson,

Ok I am going to consider that you are getting issue due to "Age Determination" step. Can you check if you have below config settings under SPRO-Benefit.

Define Employee Groupings->Define Employee Criteria Groups ->Define Age Group "Are you seeing any Age Group Parameter under it which has 65 Age Limit"

Plans->Health Plans->Define Cost Variants -> "Are you seeing same Age Group Parameter under EE+Fmaily OR EE+Child" ?

Also, as per standard there are no Age group settings by default.

Hi Arpit,

As per config we have two plans one is with Coverage and other one No coverage Option.

Also Age Groups is defined in Employee Criteria Groups.

This criteria is used in Plan with Coverage Option but not with No coverage option.(Insurance Plans).

So whether i need to define age groups for No coverage option also so that this error willl not occur.

So are still getting this error OR you have already resolved it? I am not sure what SAP Version are you using but you can look into this note 861657. Regards, Arpit

We are using ECC 6.0 ...Error is showing in error list tab,but i am able to enroll the employee in Plan.

So since for Spouse Plan with Coverage has age grp defined,is it necessary to define same age grp classification for Spouse Plan with No Coverage.??
