Hello,
i am facing an issue while deleting ainfo object.
it was an attribute of another object but i have unchecked it and also in the program "ZXRSAU02" i have commented the code where it was been used before.
After all this when i try to delete the info object it is throughing the error
so my question is if even the commented code exist in the program "ZXRSAU02" will the object won't get deleted?
please clarify my question.
with regards,
JP.

Hello guys,
Thankyou very much for your valuable Suggestions.
actually the iusse is because of the Structure "STRU_4JLUMQYULO7AGIFXG8XKWUAVF"
this structure contains the field i mentioned but the object is no longer checked as an attribute in the main object but still in these structure the field appears.
finally we found out a SAP NOTE : 1539226 which has details procedure to do but this can be implemented only when support package >=26.

attribute is reference to another infoobject attribute ? then you have to delete primary attribute data then you can delete this attribute easily.
if not check whether this attribute having an data then delete data and try to delete.

Prakash,
Assuming the IO is used in Query.
1.First remove the IO from the Query , then Target then from attributes.
RSA1- Where used will give you a broder perspective.
2.Also check whether SID has been genereted for the Master Info-object in which this IO is present.
3.If so then remove the DIM ID corresponding to this Master SID , then delete the SID of this too.
4.SE14 will delete in one shot, but quite risky to do since all your transaction data will be removed for this info-object.

Hi,
For the infoobject SID might have get created, first delete the SIDs by using tcode SE14, you can identify SID with /BI0/S*infoobject name, there in transaction after entering SID table name,
1. Remove infoobject from all the objects by using where used list
2. goto SE14 enetr SID table name and hit enter
3. Processing Type 'Direct'
4. Choose Radio Button 'Delete Data'
5. After this try to delete Infoobject

Hi,
goto the infoobject and click on the where-used-list. Delete the object from all other objects in the list. These might be datatargets (Cubes, DSOs) Attributes of other objects, InfoSources...
If it is not used anywhere else you will be able to delete it.

Hi Prakash,
I think it may allow to delete but it may warn you.
if you don't that field reaalted code any more then delete respctive code in ZXRSAU02 and activate it and later try to delete it. it will resolve.
Thanks
