CTM SHOULD NOT CREATE PLANNED ORDERS

Hello Everybody

My Demand selection Profile has Sales orders & Forecast.

Supply Selection has Process orders & Stock only.

I dont want CTM to generate Planned orders- All i want CTM to do is to satisfy the demand with the available stock & the Process orders. "DO NOT CREATE PLANNED ORDERS".

How is this possible. I thought since the supply simulation shows Stock & Process orders, it should not generate the Planned orders. However it is generating the Planned orders after pegging the available STock & Purchase orders.

Please suggest .

Hi Rachel,

How critical is to get CTM create process order directly create process order without creating planned order, there might be the solution for this, using some enhancement, but i would see that as unnecessary complexity added.

Alternatively you can scehedule a background job for converting planned orders to process order may be on daily or for every 12 hours, which might solve your issue, unless it is some kind of show stopper if you create planned order and convert the same to process order.
