Permit screen on workorders

Hi there,

We have configured permit usage, assigned permits to functional locations with automatic proposal to workorders when the functional location is used.

Only authorized persons are allowed to issue permits, we can achieve this by authorizing on transaction IPM2.

However via the workorder one can also issue permits and although a workorder creator is not allowed for transaction IPM2, this person can still issue the permit via the workorder permit subscreen.

Does anyone knows how to achieve that permits are only to be issued via transaction IPM2 and not via the workorder permit subscreen?

You can control that by using Authorization object I_SOGEN.

Give the Permit Code only in Authorized Persons role, not on creators role.
