Hello Gurus,
my company has not yet defined labour cost in orders.
i need some light on how to define the labour costs in order and necessary configuration documents on defining it.
can i know from which functional consultant i need to gather all the necessary configuration( i mean defining labour activity type and cost for that activity).
and what are the configuration necessary from other functional consultants in order to fulfill the requirement.
thanks
To calculate Labor Cost, Activity Price should be defined for the combination of Activity type, Cost Center & the Period. This will be taken care by FICO Consultants.
In Control Key, Cost Calculation tick box should have been selected.
Costing Variant & Valuation Variant should be configured and these should be assigned to PM Order types. The standard Costing Variant (PM01 if available in your system) & Valuation Variant (007) can be used or it can copied to create Custom Variant if you require any change in Cost Calculation.
Check the Configuration Path: PM & CS - Maintenance & Service Processing - Maintenance & Service Orders - Functions & Settings - Cost Calculation for Maintenance & Service Orders
To display the cost in appropriate head, configure in PM & CS - Maintenance & Service Processing - Maintenance & Service Orders - Basic Settings - Settings for display of Costs
Here you have to configure Value categories like Internal labor, External Service, Materials, etc., as per your requirement. Either Cost elements or Cost elements groups can be assigned to this Value categories. Get the appropriate cost elements / cost elements groups from FICO consultants.
