HWC Customization

Hi,

Is there anyway to customize Hybrid Web Container . ( UI level modifications ) also i need to apply some styles for HWC menu .

if its possible please let me know ..

I got your requirement.

The source code for HWC is available in the Sybase info center.

You need to modify the source code for each platform (Android, IOS, BB & Win) based on your requirement.

The should have some basic knowledge on Java for Android and BB, Objective C of IOS and .Net for Win.

Hi Midhun,

Yes , can do that the way you explain .. i have download the source code and did some changes for HW container . seems is this the only way of doing this .. i was looking to the hybrid solution .

If you are using SUP 2.1.3 without the patches, the following sample may be of some help.  I believe the process of customizing the HW container changed from 2.1.3.0 to 2.1.3.x

Hi Thushara,

when you have done generate workflow package,

you would have seen few html, js, css files created automatically.

there you ll find a custom.js file.

Thanks a lot for your reply .. my requirement is not to customize the workflow applications . i have already done that ..

i need to customize the workflow container which we install on mobile device to run the workflows ..

Hi Jitendra ,

i have install the HWC on device .. but my  users are not satisfy with a look and feel of container . its start with plain white logging screen to give HWC credentials and after logged in to the container its list all the workflows in menu which we deploy to the device . That menu is having very basic look and feel .  i want to customize that menu .

Hope you got idea about my requirement . if not please let me know to provide further clarifications ..
