Use of Hide vs Suppress

Hi,

Using CR v14.

Can anyone give me a definitive lowdown on the advantages of using Hide vs Suppress as well as the disadvantages?

The last few times I looked into this, the answer I got was just no drill down vs drill down, but I thought in the past it also affected whether values were included in calculations.
