Popup in RF device by LM01

Dear Experts,

I was creating an LM01 custom transaction waherin i called FM for TO creation.

but while testing I found that there are some enhancements done in the FM which calls an information message on screen.

in normal scenario it's OK while testing on PC. but what would be it's behavior on RF scanner as we don't have scanner to test in development system at offshore..

I tried to search on SDN and found that some people are saying that popup do appear but OK button did not work.

Has any one scene such scenario before or what could be possible solution for this.

Hi Ankitesh,

RF Scanner, simply works on any field wherever you will put your cursor. You don't need to bother about the same you can do the testing just by putting any default value in that particular field where you are supposed to read with the scanner.

Hi,

It really depends on the technology used on the scanner.  I assume from your question that you are using SAPConsole.

From my recollection you will need to trap the message when calling the function module and issue it instead (assuming you want to) using function module CALL_MESSAGE_SCREEN.

P.S. I think it's possible to install and configure SAPConsole on your PC and replicate the behavior of the device.
